General & Family Physician 's  Response
Acne is a disease of the hair follicles and affects almost all teenagers during puberty. Acne occurs when sebaceous glands attached to the hair follicles are stimulated at the time of puberty or due to other hormonal changes. Sometimes, cyst forms and it get infected.
1.     Apply locally Clindoxyl gel (clindamycin + benzyl peroxide) at bed time for a month
2.     Capsule Acutret (isotretinoin) 5 mg every 12 hours per oral for 30 days. If you are pregnant or planning to conceive then do not take it
3.     Use Acne aid soap three time daily for cleaning your face
4.     Do not squeeze pimples as it will cause scarring
5.     Keep pimples untouched
6.     Try to avoid use of unbranded cosmetics unnecessarily
7.     Avoid mental stress as it aggravates acne
Thanks
