Suggest Food Habits And Precautions To Be Taken With High Cholesterol Levels

Dear Doctors, I am non alcoholic person. My BMI is 31.65.() SGPT/ALT 190 Cholesterol 179 SGOT/AST 171.I have been prescibed to take UDLIV 300 Triglyceride 85 (URSODIOLTABLETS USP HDL Cholesterol 48 Please advise me food habit to be changed and any other LDL Cholesterol 114 precautions to be observed. regards, YYYY@YYYY .Vldl Cholesterol 17

Hi,

To control cholesterol levels drink water as much as you can including 4-5 glasses of lukewarm water .

Start taking green tea 2-3 times a day .

Avoid eat out and stop eating fried foods. Say no to packed/ canned/ ready to eat food items.

Include oats/ Oat Bran/ Oat Upma/ Oat porriadge in your daily diet.
