Suggest Effects Of HCG Diet

Several of my friends have been on the HCG Diet being only allowed to eat 5oo calories a day and using some kind of drops when they get hungry so curb appetite. I have read it makes you body react as though it is pregnant to sluff off the fat does not seem healthy to me any input Please.

Welcome to HCM,
You are correct. The HCG diet is not safe. No evidence exists that this female hormone helps anyone lose weight and the excessively low calorie amount can cause problems with blood pressure, falls, dehydration and other issues, particularly if a chronic disease such as diabetes is involved.

Ditch this diet and do it the right way. Lifestyle change, decrease calories, add exercise, learn to cook low fat and lean, cut out trans fat, decrease added sugars to less than 10% of calories, no sugar substitutes except stevia, and learn to love yourself!
