Suggest Duration Of Taking Depression Medicines
one of my friend is diagnosed with depression. . he was taking depression medicines for past 2 yrs with some other doctor? Now we had changed the doctor since no full sign of improvement and the doctor is not asking much about patient.......how long should he take medicines?????

duration of treatment is depends upon its severity and duration of illnesses
in 1st episode of depression, we usually prescribed medicines about 1 and half year
sometimes it is needed to continue up to 6 mnth after 100% improvident
so need proper guidance and consult proper psychiatrist
if no sign of improvement than go for other modality of treatment
get well soon
