Suggest Dosage For Dilantin

I recently tried to O.D. on 80 100m.g. Dilantin, then after spending 3 days hospital I was released and told to continue taking meds as prescribed. 1 pill in the morning and 3 at night. For about 7 days after that I experienced a strong taste of salt in the morning and a strong taste of sugar at night would last for 2-3 hours, it has stopped happening in the last 6 days. Should I be concerned or not.

Welcome and thanks for the consult. I appreciate your concerns. I have reviewed your query about bad taste in mouth after taking medications. It may be a temporary side effect or due to something else.But as it has stopped 6 days back then there is nothing to worry about and there apparently is no need to change the medication dosage. Take medications as prescribed by your Physician.
