Suggest Dosage For Co-trimoxazole Forte

Hi... I just have my urinalysis and it shows that I have 12-15 pus cells I m 26 and female. And the doctor told me that I have cystitis. Wat is that mean? And he gave me a medicine which will I take 2times a day. Emit is cobtrimoxazole bactrim forte 800mg... My question is. How many interval to take medicine bcoz it has a high dosage. Last time I have u.t.I it s just once a day. Hope u will answer my question. Thanks and God bless

Hello,
Cystitis is an infection in the bladder. That is a regular dose of bactrim. You should take it about 12 hours apart for however long your doctor prescribed it. Drink lots of water while you are on it.
