Suggest Diet When On Doxycycline To Treat Chlamydia
I m taking Doxycycline to treat Chlamydia, It s fourteen pills for 7 days, the bottle says to take with Food, and so far what I ve been told is not to take within 2 hours of Dairy Products, Calcium or Iron. What can I eat while taking this pill ? I m not sure witch foods are safe. Thank you- Brad.

Tetracycline group of antibiotics forms chelate with dairy products , iron and calcium, that's why nor recommended with these products. Chelate forms in stomach or intestine ,if these taken together .
So after 2-3 hours of doxycycline ( a group of tetra) or before 2-3 hours food products you can take this drug .
But you can take carbohydate diet like bread , biscuit ( not containing calcium)any vegetable without calcium and iron.
