Hi,I am Dr. Santosh Kondekar (Pediatrician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
my daughter is 11 months old she has been walking since 8 months and she eats very well and is very healthy. within the last few weeks she has been wanting food alot more and im afraid she will start gaining too much weight if we give her food whenever she is wanting it. she always wants to eat when we do so is there anything i can do to distract her or change this habit? my mother in law is the one who is feeding her quite a bit through out the day. i mean is that healthy? she is very healthy but her belly has gotten a good bit bigger in the last few weeks. please let me know what i can do. like how many times a day shoudl she eat total and what can she have?
Hi, thanks for asking. I would like lo know the weight of your child. For an 11 month old child 9 to 10 kg is ideal weight. Usually eating patterns of a child are guided by his appetite. You can give him food five times a day. Try to give healthy foods like fruits pulses etc. I hope I have helped you. Thank you
