Suggest Diet Plans For A Diabetic Patient Recovering From Typhoid

Hi , My father is 63 yrs old, is diabetic (last blood test sample after break fast showed the count to be around 180 and before breakfast at 100).. He was down with typhoid last week and was hospitalized. He is recovered and back home. What is the recommened diet for him?

Here is the suggestion for you in diet plan for typhoid patient.
Take small meal at regular interval.
Drink more water and fruit juice.
Avoid high fibre containing diet like cereal .
Avoid spicy and fatty food.
Take high protein rich food like egg, chicken.take more milk.
Initially take semisolid diet for few days.
Drink soup.

For controlling diabetes take low sugar diet.Apple,beans,broccoli,carrot,cranberry,flaxseed are some good diet for controlling diabetes.
