Suggest Diet Plan To Control Thyroid Problem

Hi Sir, I am Krishna, 27 year old (Male). My doctor has told me that I had thyroid problem (Hypothyroidism) and gave medicine to control it. These are the test results.T3: 0.95 ng/mL T4: 6.1 ug/dl TSH: 8.73 uIU/ml Can you please let me know what all diet I need t follow and any other suggestions to improve the working of thyroid gland.Thank You !!

Hello,
Thank you for using HCM! I carefully read your concerns.
Your TSH is a bit high, that means the thyroid function has begun to decrease.
In general the most common cause at your age is an autoimmune etiology.
There is no diet studied and approved until now that may improve the autoimmune process. All you can do to improve the TSH level is to substitute the hormones by taking levothyroxine by mouth.
Especially before planning a pregnancy the TSH level must be at normal ranges because it may have effects in the prognosis of the pregnancy and the development of the baby.
