Suggest Diet For Jaundice Patient

hi doctor can u help me..my sis is 22 yrs old..she frst suffered frm weakness and was diagnosed jaundice with bilirubin 7 ,,cntinued all boiled diet and her bilirubin reached 20 in 18 days and thn on 19th day she fainted and was admitted whr she was diagnosed to have typhoid but surprisingly she had fever of100 only but cnt be given antibiotics fr typhoid ..she s on dns and ringer lactate,,has lost 12 ks in 20 days ,,has abdominal pain also..please suggest if she should be given glucose orally and how much in a day and whether juices of pomegranate and grapes s gud?and pls tell the diet and the antibiotics.its urgent.thx.

Everything that can be given orally with the permission of attending doctor ( of course minus fats), should be given. Hygeinic sugarcane juice has been in vogue.

But I would add that decoction of Punarnava (Boerhavia diffusa) works as elixir in such conditions. In ready made decoctions liquid Punarnavashtak Kwath or Punarnavadi Kwath in order of preference, should invariably be given whenever oral food starts.

Then there are yav kshar, Mukta shukti bhasm etc that may be given after consulting Ayurveda doctor. But decoction should be started on first opportunity.

In my career of 3 decades, success rate with these medicines have been overwhelming.
