Suggest Diet Chart And Lifestyle Changes For Healthy Body With History Of Having IBS

Hi my names Molly, and I m a sixteen almost seventeen year old girl. I had been very overweight for about a year of my youth, then i had noticed i was getting bullied and teased by other students. I was about 5ft 1inches tall and 130lbs, during the summer i excersized, ate well and had a growth spurt. I was 108...then i was still being bullied so i ate alot less then exersized more. I was about 5ft 3.5inches tall and somewhere between 85-90lbs. Today i have gained 10lbs since the being of the school year im now around 5ft 4-5inches tall and weigh around 108-110lbs; Im eating health and excersizing and have acepted the fact that my body changed and this is a healthy weight. I have also realized that if its really healthy for me to weigh this much, I want to tranform the excess weight on my body into muscle. I would like you to take knowledge of the fact that i suffer from IBS. I would like to know if there are any foods i should watch out for or eat more of...or any excersizes i should be doing. Thank you for you time, Molly.

Hi, thank you for posting.

When suffering from irritable bowel syndrome, 5 meals a day are required.
You should reduce carbohydrates and spicy foods, and increase the amount of fiber foods you eat on a day.
The physical exercises are good for your health so you should keep exercising.

You also should contact a dietologist.

Dr. Behar.
