Suggest Cure For Swelling In Thumb

I was stabbed by a large blackberry thorn in the lower digit of my thumb about 4 weeks ago and although it doesn t hurt, it is still a swollen mass the size of a dime. Is really stuck me hard and I expected it to be a bloody mess when I removed my glove, but there was no blood or wound at all. What should I do about this ongoing swollen digit?
