I feel like I swallowed a pill and is stuck at the base of my throat. I did not swallow a pill at all. I have no cold or cough. no pain when I swallow, but feels like a lumps in my throat. I am a female 49 years old. I had my thyroid removed 9 years ago.
I is unlikely that a pill may get stuck in your throat , rather it is more likely that there may be a swelling in your throat either due to the injury by the tablet or as a reaction to some chemical in the tablet. Please dont worry , as this will resolve in 2-3 days and does not need further treatment. However you should avoid hot and spicy food.
Take care
