Suggest Cure For Bruise & Sharp Pain On My Left Forearm

I hurt my my left forearm (ulna) over a week ago , at first it swelled up to the size of a tennis ball then about 10 mins late this massive bruise came out . Since then the swellen has gone down but it s still swollen and puffy and still bruised but now then swellen has gone down I can feel a hard sore lump on my bone, and during the week I had some sharp pains and funny feeling in my hand. what do u think I have done and should do ?

Hello,
Thanks for your query.
After going through your query I came to know that you got injury of your left forearm.
It may be fracture of ulna bone which can be ruled out by doing x-ray of left forearm bone AP and lateral view.
Till then it should be empirically treated as soft tissue injury right forearm .
1.Keep limb elevated.
2.Sling can be worn.
3..Do active movements of fingers to reduce swelling.
4.You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it.
3.Analgesics (Diclofenac three times a day after meals)give relief.
5.Vitamin B-complex and Vitamin C help in healing.
6.Ice fomentation may be of help.
You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it.
