Hi I am really worried about a lump that I have found. It is underneath my breast on the bone although it seems to have grown a little. It is small, round and hard. I went to see the doctor about 2 months ago and he told me it was a spot. It has not gone away. Today I noticed I have a lump under my arm pit of a similar size and shape. My Grandma had breast cancer and my mum may have the faulty gene. I am only 34 years old. Please help as soon as possible because I would like to be reassured.
1.History suggest that there is a breast lesion and followed by a axillary / under arm lesion / lump. 2.If you are mu patient i would have examine the lump / lesion and ask for an ultrasound. 3.Ultrasoun will give the details about the nature of the lesion, its source and where all it is extended and its features ( malignant / benign ) . Both the breast lump and under arm need to be assessed. 4.An FNAC - if lesion is confirmed an fine needle aspiration cytology is advised to know the nature of the lump. Followed by the treatment options - excision or conservative. 5.You have a risk factor possibilities of breast malignancies are there so act vastly and get examined throughly and treated. Good luck.
Hope it helps you. Wish you a good health. Anything to ask ? do not hesitate. Thank you.
