Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...My mom fell from the stairs shes ok but shes got bumps on her forhead and a soft spot on a side of her head...Im very worry about it..please give me an answer, she had a scan done and x rays...shes in a nursing home.

did she have any loss of consciousness, vomiting or changes in mentation during her fall? it might just be an inflammatory reaction. the swelling would eventually subside in 2-3days time. but it is best if you have her evaluated clinically by a doctor. a cranial ct-scan might also be of help to rule-out any head injuries.
