I have every sympton for a bad thyroid, my Dr. said he was 99% sure that is my problem, but my TSH level came back 2.61 so he ruled that out. I have 2 grandmothers an aunt and mother who were all put on medication with TSH levels of 2.8 and 3.0....should i be concerened?
Hi, dear I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
You may have bad thyroid But with TSH in between 2 to 3 it is not wise to start drug. It is completely normal and no need to take medicine for it.
Just check your free T3, Free T4 and TSH level again and if required start medication accordingly.
