Suggest Complications Of Smoking During Bronchitis

Age 76, diagnosised with Bronchitis, cough up mucos heavy at times, mainly at night. Treated with azithromycin 250 mg. Helps greatly for short time. Taking over the counter mucos loosing meds. Husband is a smoker. Ques. What effect is the smoke having on my bronchitis?

Since your husband is smoker, his smoke can definitely damage your lungs. This is called passive smoking. You are not taking smoke directly but indirectly smoke goes into your lung from others dmoking habit. And yes definately this will harm you and worsens your bronchitis. So adk your husband to quit smoking for the benefit of both of you. Enroll his name in smoking rehabilitation center.
