Suggest Complications Of STD Infection With Oral/anal Sex

I just had a sexual encounter and received penile and anal oral sex. What are the std I should be worried about? I should say that with the anal oral sex, it was only on the surface. I am worried especially since I am a married man and I feel I should be tested before I have sex with my wife. I would appreciate your response.

Hello. Thanks for writing to us at healthcaremagic

Unprotected sex is a high risk for all types of STD's, specially if it was with a sexual partner of unknown status.
Almost all the STD's like herpes, syphilis, gonorrhea, warts, molluscum and HIV are transmitted through unprotected sexual acts; whether oral or genital; active or passive.
I would suggest that you visit a sexual health clinic for counselling and testing for various STD's at appropriate intervals.
Testing at 2 weeks for herpes and at 1 month for syphilis and HIV is advisable.
HIV and syphilis should be tested again at 3 months if testing at 1 month is negative.
Moreover, if you notice any growth or ulcer or urethral discharge, you should immediately contact your doctor for the needful.
Try to avoid sexual contact with your wife till you are declared free of all possibilities of STD.

Take care
regards
Always practice safe sex with a condom!
