Suggest Cause For Swollen Lymph Nodes In Arms & Groin Area

hello, have had swollen lymph nodes in both arms, groin and one armpit for at least 3 weeks now. went to my doctor who drew up some blood work, but blood work shows no sign of infection, or autoimmune disorders. also cell counts look good. the nodes are tender to the touch and can be moved around. no other symptoms, no fever or weight loss or anything out of the ordinary for me. any ideas what could cause this? thank you

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello!

Thank you for the query.

Even if the blood work is fine, your lymph nodes can be enlarged due to lymphoma. There fore I suggest you to consult hematologist. An ultrasound of this lymph nodes should be done, chest and abdominal CT.
Most likely you need a biopsy or surgical excision of some lymph nodes for pathologist examination.
Please do not wait with it.

Hope this will help.
Regards.
