Suggest Cause For Lumps On The Scalp In Elderly

My scalp has become very lumpy over the past decade. 70 yo, TSH .25, blood parameters normal except blood sugar 125, low testosterone was down to 44 but increasing with hormone replacement. Began after Lymerix vaccine, which also caused hypertension and severe arthritis. HLA-DR4 positive.

Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like sebaceous cyst , dermoid cyst or any localize infection . I would suggest you to consult dermatologist for proper examination . Doctor may check vital , order tests like blood test , take sample for lab test . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics like clindamycin , anti inflammatory or may recommend liposuction in case of lipoma. For now keep your scalp clean and dry , maintain personal hygiene and apply warm compresses to lumps .
