Suggest Cause For Fatigue, Rise In Weight Dizziness Post Radiotherapy

Diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer (node) 2004, hence a survivor. Had surgery and Radiotherapy but opted not to have chemo or Tamoxifen. For several months I have been experiencing extreme fatigue, pain in joints, shortness of breath, huge increase in weight (25 kilos in 3 years) niggling cough, fluid retention throughout body, intermittent dizziness.

Hi

After hearing your history i would advise you to do a CT scan of chest and whole abdomen along with a bone scan.

Since you did not take chemotherapy or tamoxifen which is hormonal therapy which is a must for stage 2 breast cancer after surgery and radiotherapy your disease may have spread to its last stage which is 4.

You can take paracetamol tablet 500 mg twice daily after food for 4 days for your pain in joints and tablet asthalin 4 mg twice daily after food for 3 days for your shortness of breath.

For cough you can do warm saline gargles.

Regards
