Suggest Better Treatment For Migraines

Just started topamax to prevent migraines....so far I keep getting more and an dizzy and very agitated and feel generally crappy (sorry). I also take geodon for bipolar and was wondering if they interact. I am more manic than depressive. I have ringing ears. YYYY@YYYY thank you very much

Hello thanks for asking from HCM for your health related queries

I can understand your concern. You have migraine headache and has been prescribed Topiramate for prophylaxis. You are also a known case of bipolar disorder and are taking Ziprasidone for treatment. If we consider any drug interactions then taking both the drugs simultaneously is totally safe and is not associated with any serious drug interactions.

Mild increase in sedation, dizziness, slight irritability can occur with these drugs but over all both have no serious drug interactions.
