General & Family Physician, Dr. Nishad BN's Response
Hi Thank you for asking HCM. I have gone through your query. Your problem is most likely due to bacterial vaginosis associated with yeast infection. A pelvic examination should be carried out by gynecologist and a swab to rule out the condition. In such case i advise combination of antibiotics like metronidazole or clindamycin with clotrimazole as vaginal suppository or as oral tablets. I also advise to use intimate wash regularly to normalize vaginal bacterial flora and PH and there by prevent getting further infections. Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear. Thanks.
