When Gastritis is there avoid antibiotics unless very severe infection, as u said mild UTI, which needs plenty of water or liquids orally in any form will treat UTI by flushing the kidneys,
so no need of antibiotics for mild UTI, it will aggravate gastritis
Also take care of diabetes which will prevent severe infection,
I find this answer helpful
