Suggest Anesthetic Drugs That Do Not Cross React With Sulfa Drugs

I had a severe reaction to sulfa drugs - anyphylaxis - several years ago. I also reacted to PPd which is in hair dye. Took over a year and three sessions at the salon to figure out the massive hives were from this chemical which has a cross reactivity to sulfa. I need to schedule surgery to repair my Achilles tendon and my doctor suggested a block. I know there is also cross reactivity to lidocaine. What "caine" type drugs would be safe?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if you are sensitive to sulfa and Paraphenylenediamine (PPD) then this does not mean that you are sensitive to anesthetic agents, once you inform the anesthetic about your sensitivity then you would be taken proper care for this, hope this information helps take care, have a nice day
I find this answer helpful
