Suggest An Alternative Of Pantoprazole

Hello.. I have been taking pantoprazole for 4 or 5 years... I have not had a episode of stomach problems for a while.. but when I did in the past.. if was due to me missing doses of medicine... I am out of my prescription for 2 days... what should I take instead of..to prevent stomach problems???

As per your history it seems to me you are suffering with gastric or peptic ulcer.

You can take any of the proton pump inhibitors like esimoprazole, rabiprazole, or lenciprazole or even omperazole too.

In case you find none if it you can take Any H2 blocker like rentidine 300 mg bed time. Even if it is only the matter of 24-48 hours, it will not make much difference if you will even not take. Because these drugs have much half life and can do its job if even missed sometimes but regular intake is highly recommended in severe cases like GI bleed.
