Suggest Alternative Treatment For Schizophrenia In A Child
Hello doctor my 7 year old daughter suffers from child hood schizophrenia and takes resperdol 4mg twice daily but lately her condition has been getting a lot worse at bed time she has been hearing loud noise that nobody else can hear scratching banging and bouncing noises ect. I am really concerned she won t sleep at night unless I m there with her.

I really appreciate your concern, it may not be the case as you said, but in my opinion it could be pediatric functional condition, and better to see the child psychiatrist, it may be hallucination and not the schizophrenia hope this information helps.
