Suggest Alternative Medicine For Recurring Mouth Ulcers.

I have had mouth ulcers since October of 2016. I have had three doctors in my primary care physicians office giving me everything under the sun. Then my dentist referred me to an oral surgeon. He did a biopsy on December 21st. That biopsy was negative for cancer and two other diseases of which I do not know the name but, I can get it. and the mouth ulcers absolutely do not go away. No matter what they give me. I have a huge one on the left side of my tongue and it has been there for over three weeks. It is very sensitive when I talk and when I eat and just sensitive during all my waking hours. I have used salves and magic mouthwashes and different pills. Then I went to see an Eastern Holistic Doctor who did acupuncture and gave me two sets of pills to take three times a day and each time take 5 pills each. What can I do? She said I had a problem with my spleen. I am lost and very frustrated.

Hi..
Thanks for the query..

It looks like you have recurring apthous stomatitis and the large sore seems to be a major Apthae that is larger than a normal canker sores and takes a longer time to resolve..

In cases where the common treatments of the apthous ulcers does not provide improvement, in that case steroids therapy is given for relief..

You can start applying steroid ointment like Kenacort over the sores and along with it suck steroid lozenges.
Also start taking Vitamin B complex supplement daily for a month..
Gargle with 1:1 solution of benadryl and milk of magnesia..
Soda bicarb rinses can also help..

Hope this helps..

Regards.
