Hello,

Excessive usage of amla juice triggers hyperacidity and this can irritate the stomach lining. Do stop consuming the amla juice.

Your symptoms suggest you may have intestinal dysbiosis. Dysbiosis can result from a deficiency of bacteria or overgrowth of harmful organisms such as yeast and protozoa. Symptoms include abdominal bloating, pain, flatulence, and diarrhea. Dysbiosis may be caused by frequent use of antibiotic or other drugs, stress, poor dietary choices (foods rich in carbohydrates, animal fats), and intestinal infections.

First, I'd like you to consider going on an elimination diet for 2 weeks. This is to calm down and stabilize your irritated digestive tract. Leave out foods that contain sugar, dairy, soya, yeast, gluten, alcohol.

Use digestive enzymes to reduce the load of digestion on your intestinal tract so that it can recover.
Use herbs to treat diarrhea:
1. Echinacea root to enhance immunity
2. Barberry root to be rid of disease-causing microbes
3. Slippery elm bark or chamomile to reduce inflammation
4. Fennel seed as a carminative to reduce pain

Re-balance the friendly bacteria in your gut using good probiotics. Healing your gut will take at least a month. If you have access to a nutritional or functional physician, they will be able to guide you step by step.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shabnam Ardev
