hi I was just diagnosed w stage 4 arthriris on my right knee. I was given a cortison shot.i was told from people with similar knee issues that my knee is to far gone for cortisone. is that true? is there any other solution? the pain is terrible. thank you michelle
Hello, apart from knee shot there are only surgical options. It can be arthroscopy in which we do partial debridement, it is a very minor procedure and youcan walk from second day. If you are willing for permanent solution then it is total knee replacement, in which knee cartilage is replaced by stainless steel implant. So you can choose any of the above mentioned options.
