Suggest A Remedy For Swollen, Sore And Sensitive Clitoris Post Intercourse

After intercourse, my clitirous became swollen, very sensitive and soar to the touch as well as when I put pressure on it to urinate. Its extremely uncomfortable to even sit. I have tried putting an ice pack on it and have had no results at all in 24 hours. It just seems to be getting worse. Is there anything I can do to ease the pain and what could be causing it to make sure it never happens again? :(

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain sore and swollen Clitoris after intercourse can be due to either infection or trauma post intercourse..
Traumatic injury can occur either due to rough intercourse or if there is lack of lubrication in the area it can also lead to inflammation, swelling and discomfort..
Bacterial or Fungal infection can be another common cause..
I would suggest you to do cool compresses 2 to 3 times a day..
You can also apply ointment containing clotrimazole and bacitracin..
Keep the area dry and clean and avoid vigorous rubbing to clean the area..
You can also apply Aloevera gel to soothe the mucosa as well as it has antibacterial and anti inflammatory properties..
If pain in more you can take anti-inflammatory painkillers like Advil or Aleve..
In case if the symptoms does not get better consult a Gynaecologist and get evaluated..
