my friend passed out tonight at a restaurant, she had 1 beer and was just beginning her meal. She said she felt ill then passed out and after 30 seconds of being out she threw up repeatedly. When she came to, she did not remember the details of the episode but has clarity and feels fine

Hello, I hope you are well, if the suspicion is that the cause of these symptoms was the alcohol intake the indicated care is the next:
1. A restful rest.
2. Maintaining an adequate state of hydration
3. Avoiding alcohol intake.

This measures you must done with adequate support of fluids and electrolytes, avoiding consumption of beverages with excess glucose.

Transiently avoid the consumption of dairy and fatty foods as they can aggravate the digestive symptoms. Usually the symptoms improve from 12 to 24 hrs.
