I HAVE A 48 YEAR OLD DOWN SYNDRONE MALE WITH ACUTE PANCREATITIS. HE HAS TO BE GLUTEN FREE BUT HAS NO TEETH AND WE ARE VERY LIMITIED ON THE FOODS HE CAN HAVE TO EAT HE HAS BEEN IN HOSPITAL 4 TIMES WITH EPISODES OF PANCREATITIS. GASTRO DOCTOR DID ENDOSCOPY AND FOUND PANCREAS WAS DRYING UP (SHIVERLING UP) SAID THERE WAS NOTHING ELSE THAT COULD BE DONE EXCEPT TRY TO KEEP HIM COMFORTABLE. HOW LONG CAN HE LIVE LIKE THIS. OUR FOODS ARE VERY LIMITED.

I really appreciate your concern, as long as your query is concern it is all depend upon the clinical condition and vital organ function without this it is difficult to say predict the prognosis, some it may not be the thing as we are thinking or what the clinical examination and disease condition directed the prognosis hope this information helps.
