I am 49yrs of age and I am suffering from liver abscess since 2006. It is around 115cc in volume.I will quote from my recent US- Liver is though normal in size,smooth in outlines and shows a rounded cystic mass in the rt lobe of posterior most part close tod diaphragm and measures around 67x47mm in size with volume around 99 cc and it is found to have direct communication with rt pleural cavity showing pleural effusion.rest of the liver shows normal smooth homogenous paresnchymal echopattern. It has been drained 8 times so far.recent cathetar drainage was done on 28.11.09. I am getting fever of approx 100.5 deg every evening for last few days.Fever comes around 7PM and goes away in about 1 hr after taking 1 crocin.rest of the day is normal.I get slight pain on rt shoulder whenever cavity is filled up. Have shown to various doctors and have undergone various tests including HIV. For initial years salmonella typhi used to come.But recently that is also ok. Physically I look absolutely normal.no loss of wt and apetite. Please guide me?
