thanks for your question you should visit your gynaec and take advise because in my patients who are post surgical i would like to rule out 3 causes- first is post surgical atelectasis in the bases of lung that is a common problem after surgeries of abdomen second is any secondary infection or pneumonia which is a possibility after visiting a hospital bronchial asthma or any bronchial disease all these diseases can be ruled out by simple investigations like chest xray , sputum culture and by measuring peak expiratory flow rate ask your pulmonologist if you should use an incentive spirometer disscuss these modalities with your gynaec thanks feel free to ask more questions
