Suffering From Urinary Tract Infection. Is It A Serious Disease?

Greetings.... my father may be suffering from Urinary tract infection ... something like PUS in kidney ... we have consulted to some doctors but nothing is being clear some of them said its was just fever or some said its an infection... i don t understand anything.... is this a serious kind of diseases.... please help me out about this.... and also suggest the contact of good doctors.... thanking you....
