Suffering From Tuberculosis. Prescribed Akurit 4. How Long Is This Disease Infectious?

Hi doctor, my wife is suffering from tb. and as per doctors advise she is taking akurit 4 , 3pills in morining. our daughter is 3 years old and doctor asked to keep her away from her for 15 days . is it enough time or we have to keep her away for more than this.? also she has taken 15 days leave so we want to know when she can go to office regularly.?

Without treatment chances of spreading infection is more so untreated patients are having more risk.
In your case as treatment is started, now chances of getting infection is less.
If she feels better and she is recovering well, other signs of her problem are absent, she can go to her office or she can wait still for one-two weeks.
Give her nourishing food and rest.
