Suffering from strenuous neckpains through to my waist, please help

hi doc. i have suffering from neckpains for the past five years,i went for a check up but its still the same pls help.
pls help, for the past five years i have been suffering from strenuous neckpains through to my waist after a check up it remains the same.

You may be having pain due to improper posture. I would recommend you sit straight and walk upright. Do mild relaxing exercises like yoga to help in relief. You may try application of Volini gel at the site of pain. If you are having tingling and numbness in any part of the body you must consult a Neurologist.

hv u taken out an XRAY
if not go in for an XRAY cervical spine AP and lateral view
u might be suffering from cervical spondylysis
try physio sessions
hot water fomentation will help
start neck isometric exercises
various physio modalities are available to ease your pain

Hello Ibrahim, Welcome to HealthcareMagic Forum.
If your Neck X ray report suggest nothing and you still have neck pain, your History suggest you have Fibromyalgia, which is a disorder characterized by widespread musculoskeletal pain accompanied by fatigue, sleep, memory and mood issues. Do you have any Past history of physical trauma, surgery, infection or stress? Kindly get yourself examined by a Neurologist to rule out if you have Cervical Spondylosis. Get a Blood Work up done, including, CBC, TFT and ESR. You will require Analgesics, Antidepressants or anti seizure drugs and Physiotherapy to control your Symptoms.
Avoid stress and maintain a healthy lifestyle. If you smoke and Drink, QUIT. Eat healthy nutritious balanced diet which should include fresh fruits and green leafy vegetables and get enough sleep. Sleep for 8 hours daily. Practice relaxation techniques like yoga and meditation. Stick to your treatment plan and go for regular follow up.
