Suffering From Shoulder Pains. Bones Crack When Stretched. All Tests, X-rays Normal. Solution?

Hello, For yrs now ive sufferd with bad shoulders where ok for couple months then 4 months of pain especially nite time. My doctor gives me pills amityptiline help get thru nite and strongest pain killers 3 in 24 hrs but was taking 8 as gets so bad i cry cant get dressed cause cant lift arms nothing then say 4 months dies down until couple months off again so what is this. Always exercised rode horses etc. I asked doctor for injections anything but says wont help. Bones crack when need to stretch yet blood tests loads and x rays all clear everytime now doc thinks nothing wrong but came out of work cause of this would love to go back but cant can u help my life is a mysery now?

Hi ! From your history, it seems that you are suffering from frozen shoulder both sides. This might have occurred gradually over the years due to possible unnoticed negligence of milder pain and trauma to the capsule of the shoulder. THis needs regular physiotherapy by an experienced physiotherapist along with an inti inflammatory drug for a few days. As it is a long term old problem of yours, this may take quite some time to give you relief of your symptoms. If the problem increases, then you may have to get reviewed by your orthopaedician.
