Suffering from pityriasis rosea

i have pityriasis rosea for about 8 weeks now. the rash has stopped spreading, but has dried out and has left me with a "leathery" feel on my skin. It's cracking and peeling, but also is tight and sore. It sort of feels like a bad sunburn. Is this normal when the rash starts to diminish?

I had pityriasis rosea and it went away. It took a long time and I was miserable, but it is completely gone now aside from a few scars. It really stressed me out and stress made it worse, but it is gone now and I am happy.

Apply Caladryl lotion, it wil soothe it. Also get a repeat check done with your treating doctor. He/she will tell you if anything is wrong.
