Hello,

Proguyluton is a combined hormonal pill (estradiol and norgestrel). It is used to treat irregular menstrual period. It is taken from D1 of cycle for continuous 21 days. After stopping them, you will get period within 7 days of pill-free day.

However, it has dual effect 1) acts as contraception by inhibiting ovulation 2) regularizes monthly period.

Mid cycle bleeding or spotting is quite common for initial pill user. It occurs due to side effects of the pill and hormonal imbalance. It stops automatically and no additional treatment is required.

If bleeding is quite heavy and continues more than 3 days, you must consult with your doctor. Maintain genital hygiene. Good luck.
