Suffering From Menopause, Epilepsy And Grand Mal Seizures, How To Treat Insomnia?
This is odd for me to even be on here cause I'm not a computer person.!! But I have recently been through menopause.! I also have epilepsy. Gran mal seizures . Been taking clonazepam , it works ok , but still have have hard time sleeping . I don't like taking anything , but is there anything u could recommend.??
Walking about 1 kilometer or taking 1 cup of milk before sleeping may help in getting sleep. If these measures are not effective a small dose of tablet amitriptyli 10-20 mg at bed time may be effective in getting sleep. Since you are also suffering from epilepsy it may be associate with some amount of depression. Your statement "I don't like taking anything" is suggestive that you might be having associated depression. This dose of anti depressive medicine will not affect the efficacy of anti epileptic drug clonazepam you are taking.
