Suffering From High Fever

i am 17 weeks pregnant, i got admitted in hospital due to high fever yesterday and my gynaecologist told me its bcoz of numerous pus cells clearly shown in my urine examination test. now he prescribed me cefixime 400 mg for 7 days and cranmax. is it fine?
