Suffering from headache, on one side of head. Is there any serious issue ?

i have had sort of migranes for over 8 years now , headache on one side of head sometimes when i wake up, it usually goes away when i sleep for a few more hours , i m twenty now, i just want to know if this is serious or just due to sleep deprivation or something like that rather than some thing serious

There are various causes for headachae. you might get due to sinusitis sleep deprivation, stress or hypoglycemia may cause headachae. each type has some specific feature and sometime no cause. better consult physician and get evaluated

Any condition that hampers your activity, work and life is serious. I think what you meant was LIFE THREATNING, not its not.
Migraine has triggers like loss of sleep, stress, strong emotions like anger, hunger, change of temperature, right before menses etc. Not if untreated, every little thing will cause/aggravete it and make like and work difficult for you.
You can try homeopathy for this condition, safely and for a permanent solution.
Meanwhile- avoid excess of alcohol, coffee, take the right amount of sleep and a balanced diet., and try to keep yourself stress free.
