Suffering From Glands Swollen, Pain And Heaviness In Chest, Diagnosed As Mono Back. Is It An Infection?

Hello my name is Lynda and i m 49 yrs old and diagnosed with mono back in Dec 2012. I just don t think the Dr s are taking this serious...I feel like something is wrong in me. My glands have been swollen since Dec and and feel like the infection in all the way down into my stomach . I have pain and a heavyness feeling in my chest and the top of my stomach is killing me 24/7. what should I do?

Hi there ~

I understand your concern. I believe that the swollen glands and pain and heaviness in the chest is probably related to a cardiac condition if the mononucleosis is ruled out. I also believe that your infection in the stomach needs to be treated and that taking an H pylori test would be a good idea. I think that you should look into getting yourself checked up for all these issues by a good doctor.
