Suffering From Fourth Recurrence Of Dengue Fever. Any Treatment? Will There Be More Episodes?

i contacted dungue fever in the u.s. virgin islands about 8 years ago. i am just this morning starting to recover from about a four day recurrance of this horrible disease. this is the fourth recurrance of the disease. can i expect more episodes? this is really a terribly painful disease. any treatment yet? michael mc cloud

hi michael !sorry to hear about your condition. i can understand your position. but sadly there is no specific treatment for dengue fever. you need to avoid contact with mosquitoes which bite during day time.symptomatic treatment for an acute episode with analgesics like acelofenac is the only mode of treatment at present
