Your doctor has put you on the right treatment
- continue the eso kit for 2 weeks
- avoid spicy food and alcohol

Along with these you can try the following things as well
- use a pillow while sleeping
- try to have your dinner atleast 2-3 hours before you sleep and take a light dinner

If the problem persists, ask your doctor to do H. pylori testing (bacteria which can lead to peptic ulcers) and also an Upper GI endoscopy
