Suffering From Epilepsy For Years, Had 3 Head Injuries. Taken Lot Of Treatment. Advise?

Sir, i born at 1981.i am suffering from Epilepsy from 1996.in mines family side nobody having this problem. in childhood time, i faced 3 times head injuries.From 1996 onwards,i went to so many specialist doctors.But, till now also i am facing the same problem.so please advise to what to do.

Thanks for coming to HCM.You need to get a EEG done,as also a CT/MRI scan brain if required,which will help diagnose the type of seizures you are having.A good neurologist would be the best person to guide you,Avoid bright flashing lights,loud music ,stress and anxiety.Antiepileptic drugs like Valproate are often used to prevent further seizures.The drugs need to be taken on a regular basis without a gap,your doctor may consider stopping the medication when you have been episode free for 4 years or more..
